Audio Control gives you the possibility of controlling your system's audio in a more comfortable fashion. The application was created with simplicity and efficiency in mind. If you wish to change the volume, for a specific application or for the entire system, re-balance it, switch to another audio device or perform other related tasks, this application will help you do everything faster.

Audio Control is free to try for 30 days, without any functionality restrictions. It comes in a small package and it can be installed quickly. It works on all popular Windows versions and it doesn't have any special requirements.

The application displays a series of volume and balance controls on a compact user interface. It lets you control the volume for each line, for microphones, for individual speakers and subwoofers and anything else that involves sound. The sliders are displayed horizontally, unlike the system's vertical sliders. According to the developers, horizontal sliders are more comfortable, because you have to rotate your wrist left and right, rather than moving your hand up and down.

Depending on how many devices you have to control, you may have a large amount of sliders, which can take up a significant portion of the screen. However, the user interface can be set to different view modes, to make it more comfortable. There are several minimal view modes to choose from and you can also customize individual elements. You can have a small, horizontal window on your screen, with only the most important controllers if you want to. Furthermore, the interface can be set to auto-hide or fade out automatically.

Controlling any aspect of a computer's volume can be done on the fly, in a comfortable manner, thanks to Audio Control's efficient design.

Pros

You can control the volume for any audio device. The application provides numerous options, for making the interface less intrusive.

Cons

There are no obvious design flaws of functionality gaps to address.
